To be recognized as one of the premier boys basketball programs in the state of Washington both academically and competitively.
To foster a basketball program that encourages student athletes to apply themselves to their best ability both in the classroom as well as on the court. We want to develop a student athlete's full potential as an individual basketball player and to help the Cedarcrest Basketball team achieve its' goals. To create a team and winning environment that is built by having fun through hard work, dedication, commitment and pride for school both on and off the court.
At Cedarcrest we are looking to build a long term basketball tradition.
Success in athletics is a long term commitment that involves dedication, commitment, sacrifice, responsibility, honesty, team, respect, fun and having a HEART for the game.

A-Attitude of Confidence
Being part of Cedarcrest basketball means you are part of a FAMILY! A family that will prepare themselves to have success in the toughest environments possible with a never say Desire Intensity Effort attitude. We must not only prepare and outwork opponents but we must be dedicated in preparing ourselves for Championships.
At Cedarcrest our offensive philosophy will be one that is fast paced and built to run at every opportunity. Our defense philosophy will be one that is built by sound defensive fundamentals while pressuring the ball to create easy scoring opportunities.
To be a top basketball program for years to come our program must start at the youth level where fundamentals and commitment to school is paramount. Our program will look to play the toughest competition available to create strong teams.
We encourage and support all athletes to be involved in other athletics or extra curricular activities to gain additional experiences for their life's journey outside of high school.
After players have finished their basketball experience we want them to be men that have not only developed in the game of basketball but graduated as men who have learned valuable life lessons that make them better husbands, sons, workers and friends.
